I am sitting here checking out my new toy! A Power Macintosh 7100/80 - running Mac OS 9.1. I bought it for $5.00. Imagine a Power PC for $5.00 - They wanted $8.00 for the funky monitor that went with it. Oh well, I have it hooked up to my monitor and keyboard. Kind of fun - almost like getting whole new system - which it actually is ! The system takes up most of the harddrive and it runs a little slow on the cable connect. Have the daughters old nubus adapter on the ethernet. Hooked it up - set up TCP/IP -downloaded newer IE and away we go - to the end of the internet and beyond. Look with the newer IE and system - I am actually going to be able to post and publish from a Macintosh - Technology - go figure!

Let the boy back on the internet - Too little - Too late! Had a BIG Family Blowout the other night. Hubbie and two kids went to stay in motel! Good use of the Christmas money - Oh well - What does one day of Happy, Happy-Merry, Merry mean to anyone - when the rest of the days around here have been pretty shitty. Need to get that kid back on track - OR - he will be the death of us all! Yes - He has always been a tough one to raise - BUTT - These teen years are really taking their toll on the whole family! I know - this too shall pass - and then what?
