What do I think and How Do I Feel?
I ask the boy - Are you a leader or a follower? He gets a perplexed look on his face, and before he can say "fu__ mom" - "I say either way - are you proud of the direction you are headed?" BUT, how do I feel or think about the direction he is headed in - or better yet the direction of most of the younger generation - Wait - this is a line - out of Oliver Twist! The younger generation has always seemed off course to their elders . . .

Dear Aunt Kate & Uncle Cliff
Right at the present time things around here have been pretty mellow! Kelly is currently in jail - assualt - he has this young thing - girl, woman - whatever - 20 something who actually lives with another guy! He is staying or was staying at mom's - as was Randy (Rose's boy - was sleeping in the back yard) - and Mike and Sherri were on the outs and Mike was hanging around (mom's - cuz his drug supply lives down the street)! Strange roots I have!
Back to the beginning - Kelly and this gal went to her apartment to get some of her things and got into a bout with her live-in sweety! Kelly and the gal went to jail - she got out but Kelly is still there. He has a few other charges that he didn't bother to take care of when he should have - so he will be there awhile - atleast until February 27th - and then maybe longer! Randy got an apartment with another guy - they are getting a free apartment while doing remodel work on an old apartment building. He (Randy) comes to mom's almost daily because he doesn't have a stove or fridge - so she basically still has to feed him! Yesterday - (I think- not sure) Mike went home! Only time will tell how long that lasts!
Mom is so much more at ease when they all take their garbage somewhere else. BUT - then again I truly think their garbage is what keep her heart pumping - somebody has to care about them!
As for Biff and I - I think these kid's teenage years are putting more gray hair and wrinkles on us two old folks than we care to think about! Murray is still Murray - smart and gorgeous - BUT still a handful of piss and vinegar - it's getting close to the time to give him his wings - trouble is we aren't (I should say - I'm not ready too!) Biff would have his (Murray's) bags packed in a flat second! I keep thinking . . . Hell - truly "Miss Katherine, I don't know nothin" about birthin" no babies - I don't know what I'm thinking when it comes to raising up the younguns - Ya know they forgot to send the manual . . . Eighteen+ years is a long time without an instruction book!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
As for everyone else here - I can say they are doing fine - haven't heard anything to the contrary - then again - who the hell cares . . .
By the way - almost had Bettie Lue talked into coming to your anniversary party - BUT - all heck broke loose around here - can't even recall what all was going on around here - just that it was not fun! Had Heather all excited - she's the one shinning star in my (should say Biff's life - cuz she'e her daddy's little girl). She is a AAAAAAA & HHHHHHH student! Kyle just finished his third year of football and now he is back with his Saturday morning dance class with Ballet West. Football and dance, go figure. He' the active one - fun little guy!
As for the whole internet thing - I made the mistake of setting the computer up in the room that Kelly was sleeping in - a few days before he got out of jail - the last time he was in jail! Needless to say - he took over the computer and the internet. Now I can not get Betty back on the thing - Maybe that will be my new venture . . . Getting her back on the computer - I'll keep you informed!
