Napster's Latest By-Products, aka: Kaaza, Limewire and Bearshare

Nix - on the receipt! If and when I'm ever audited I can come up with
all kinds of receipts! The whole computer world is funny and fun - since
the internet. Years ago my teenage son introduced me to the underworld
of the internet (not porno-although he knows where all that is:
what "male" teenager . . . doesn't- but - that another story). I am
talking about Hotline, Napster- which has been replaced by Kaaza,
Limewire and Bearshare - where you can download 'pert near anything.

They - whoever "they" are could come into my house and take every
computer I own -because- we love to say we have the latest software,
aka: games, music -old and new- desktop publishing - you name it - we've
probably got it on one computer or another! It doesn't matter if we are
ever going to use it - WE HAVE IT - Call it educational!

The same computer is a whole different computer to the next person who
uses it! Our first big computer was a Macintosh (mainly because my kids
used them in elementary school) - which I still have - Mac's are graphic
machines - I do photo work - and believe me when I say - You can not -
OR - Should not try to do anything "graphic-related" on a PC! If you
want a work machine: Desktop publishing, graphic, designing buy a
Mac . . . If you want a word processor, bookkeeping - OR - internet
machine - buy a PC . . . End of story!

EBAY Research

Thanks for contacting me about our orphan computer: Here are my thoughts
before you box it Up:

Hi-Postage and used computers do not compute. When I'd go on ebay and
see motherboards for sale, I used to think -"What the heck?" Until I put
a bid on this computer-Yes I would love to take a peek at what is on this
computer -But- I have that same computer sitting right in front of me. I
would like "everything else": books, the ethernet adapters and all the
software - as I collect and use Macintosh aka: Apple.

What I am asking you to do for me is - that is if you don't know someone
to give it too - Please take the computer, monitor and keyboard & mouse
to your local - Salvation Army -OR- Thrift store - so it can be found by
someone who wants, needs and appreciates Macintoshes. . .

I write (online- occassionally) about the Macintosh life:

I fact right now I am doing research for a story about ebay & Macintoshes.

Please send me your thoughts & an invoice (at the auction end) . . .
